The JerryAir Future Pilots Academy is our primary route into the airline for those new to virtual aviation or those who want to learn the JerryAir way from the beginning. We believe that great pilots are developed, not just recruited — and this programme reflects that philosophy.

The Academy provides a clear, structured pathway from your first flight with JerryAir all the way through to a full Captain qualification. You will be mentored by experienced JerryAir pilots and supported every step of the way.

Who is this pathway for?

Is the Academy right for you?

You are new to virtual aviation or have limited experience with online VA networks.
You want to learn proper procedures, phraseology, and JerryAir standards from scratch.
You are committed to progressing through a structured training programme.
You understand this is a long-term commitment and you are here for the community.
Expected Standards

What we expect from Academy applicants

Academy applicants must meet our basic admission standards. You do not need to be an expert — that is what the training is for — but you do need to demonstrate the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Ability to fly a basic flight using a flight simulator (any platform).
  • Basic understanding of IFR/VFR operations and ICAO terminology is beneficial.
  • Commitment to completing the Academy training programme in good faith.
  • Adherence to the JerryAir Code of Conduct and community standards at all times.
  • Willingness to communicate and engage with your assigned mentor.
  • English language proficiency sufficient to communicate with ATC and fellow crew.
Application Process

What happens after you apply?

Submit your application

Complete the online form, verify your email address, and read the JerryAir recruitment documentation.

Read & acknowledge the documentation

Read our Code of Conduct, Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy thoroughly. You will be asked to confirm you have done so.

Assessment stage

Complete our online assessment. This tests your understanding of the documentation you have read. No prior knowledge is tested at this stage.

Account creation & onboarding

Successful applicants are invited to create their official JerryAir pilot account and assigned to the Academy programme.
